How to create Blade Wallet

This guide is supposed to help you set up your Blade wallet. At the moment HeliSwap is not supporting Blade wallet integration, but since that is in the making, we already want to prepare your guys on how to set up another wallet within the Hedera ecosystem. 

Before we dive into how to set up a Blade wallet, I would like to put the disclaimer out there, that the instructions are copied off Blade wallet’s website with some mild changes in the text but not content (Thanks Harrison Soto for the write up!).  

You can set up your Blade Wallet in just 5 simple steps! It is noteworthy that after its installation, the process of setting up the Blade Wallet is the same everywhere. Once set up, you will be ready to start your crypto journey. 

Step 1: 
Open the Chrome Extension and click on “Get Started”

Step 2: 
Create your password now, which needs to contain at least 8 alphanumeric characters (and no letters with accents or diacritics). 

Step3: 
Re-enter your password twice, to make sure there is no spelling mistake in your password. Then read and accept the Terms of Use and the Privacy Policy. If agreed with, click the “I agree” checkbox. 

Step 4: 
This step now is very important, after the loading screen your Secret Recovery Phrase will appear. This is required to RECOVER your account on another device, so please write down all the words in order and keep them in a safe place.

Step 5: 
As last step, click on "I have saved my Recovery Phrase", after that on ''Next'' and ''Go to the Wallet''

Done, you have set up your Blade Wallet. Please keep in mind that Blade Labs support can neither reset/recover your password nor your recovery phrase, meaning that if you lose your recovery phrase nobody will be able to help you out.

Also, please remember to keep your Secret Recovery Phrase in a safe place. It is critical for restoring your account.
